Queer Astronomy
  • Hosted in cooperation with SEAGLA, join us to learn about the past, present and future of queer people in Astronomy.

  • We will discuss the history of LGBTQ+ people in astronomy and the physical sciences, the current efforts to make science  more inclusive and accepting for all, and the future of marginalized groups in scientific endeavors.

  • We will also discuss the current night sky and the solstice and show a few short full dome videos.

  • Questions and suggestions are always welcome and encouraged!

  • Geared towards high school and adult audiences, but all are  always welcome.
